Namakkal Municipality’s sewage treatment plant needed more capacity to serve the town.

What ENREC delivered

ENREC enhanced the existing sewage treatment plant from 5 MLD to 7 MLD, increasing its capacity by 40 per cent while building on the existing facility.

Why it matters

Enhancing an existing plant can add capacity with less disruption and cost than building a new one. ENREC also has rehabilitation and capacity-enhancement experience on other STPs, including the 35 MLD Mankuttai plant in Salem.
